Abstract

Hipertensi dan stroke merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang banyak terjadi pada kelompok lansia dan sering tidak terdeteksi secara dini, terutama di wilayah pedesaan. Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat serta keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan menjadi faktor utama tingginya risiko komplikasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan lansia tentang pencegahan hipertensi dan stroke melalui edukasi kesehatan dan skrining. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Interprofessional Education–Collaborative Practice (IPE-CP) dengan kegiatan penyuluhan serta pemeriksaan tekanan darah, indeks massa tubuh, gula darah sewaktu, asam urat, dan kolesterol pada lansia di Desa Sampuabalo, Kecamatan Siontapina, Kabupaten Buton. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan sebagian besar lansia memiliki faktor risiko penyakit tidak menular, serta terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan setelah edukasi kesehatan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi dan skrining berbasis komunitas efektif meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan deteksi dini hipertensi serta stroke. Program ini penting sebagai upaya preventif berkelanjutan dalam menurunkan risiko penyakit tidak menular di tingkat desa.
